PerspectiveAmid the winding roads and splashes of fall color I was trying to find my focus. I went into the weekend thinking about finding broad landscapes through the lens. What I found instead was some perspective. The broad landscapes were beautiful, if not yet filled with fall color. But I found more interest in the smaller vignettes. Subtle shades, bold silhouettes and rippling reflections. Tiny spots of color, quietly sitting still in the middle of a moving stream. These small scenes were the visuals I loved most.

Love all your photos, Colette. .Especially the tree that at first glance seems to be dead; but then you look again and see the tiny little branches (fingers) reaching for more life. Love it.
